In his capacity as Honorary Consul General of Portugal Elias Neocleous, managing partner of our firm, co-hosted a reception at the Severis Foundation, Nicosia, to celebrate the National Day of Portugal on June 9.
The reception was organised under the auspices of the Embassy of Portugal in Cyprus and the Honorary Consuls General of Portugal in Larnaca and Limassol.
Such events strengthen the ties between the people of both countries, and create strong bonds and opportunities for cultural and business development. The event was a great success, and was attended by diplomats, members of the government and the parliament and leading figures from business and public life.
The two countries have historically enjoyed excellent relations, based on strong bonds of friendship, mutual support and understanding. Cyprus and Portugal enjoy a high level of cooperation and mutual support at the bilateral and multilateral levels and in the framework of the European Union, where both are members of the informal Med Group of seven Southern European member states.
