On Friday 20th September 2019, our partner Nicolas Tsardellis delivered a seminar on the “European Programme for Human Rights Education for Legal Professionals (HELP) – Methodology and the e-learning platform”, at the amphitheater located at the Limassol head office of Elias Neocleous & Co. LLC.
Mr. Nicolas Tsardellis underlined the importance of the work of HELP in supporting the Council of Europe member states in implementing the European Convention on Human Rights at a national level. He then presented the learning tools in the HELP e-learning platform which are available to all professionals for increasing their knowledge on Human Rights.
The HELP platform provides distance-learning courses for selected groups of legal professionals participating in pilot courses moderated by certified national tutors. Self-learning resources are also available to any user who has an account on the platform. A few of the self-learning courses were presented during the seminar and well received by the audience present.
The seminar was accredited by the Cyprus Bar Association.
