Elias Neocleous & Co LLC is proud to have provided the Cyprus content for the third edition of “Global Sanctions Guide” (the Guide) by Eversheds Sutherland. The Guide is the result of a comprehensive research project on sanctions frameworks. The project brought together leading experts from around the world who reported on the characteristics and details of their own national sanctions regime.
The update includes significant changes to the UK sanctions regime following the end of the Brexit transition period and the knock-on effects of this in other jurisdictions. It also highlights recent significant changes in the Middle East following the lifting of an embargo on Qatar by several Gulf states.
