We are pleased to announce that the 12th Limassol Economic Forum (LEF) will soon be upon us. This year’s ‘in person’ event will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel, Limassol on 22 October 2021 . Elias Neocleous & Co LLC has been a keen sponsor of the annual LEF since its inception and is proud to have assisted in its growth into becoming the premier business event in Cyprus and, one of the most elite events in the EMEA region.
Fittingly, this year LEF will explore the impact of the pandemic and, in particular, its effects on business at the national and international level. The event will be chaired by Michalis Persianis, Director of Corporate Affairs, Bank of Cyprus. Mr. Persianis will be joined, as is usual, by an impressive list of speakers and panelists from around the globe. These will include the Indian, French, American and Egyptian ambassadors, Alessio Terzi, Economist at the European Commission’s DG ECFIN and Dr Cinzia Alcidi, Director of Research, Centre for European Policy Studies. Managing Partner, Elias Neocleous, will also be participating as a member of a ‘Business Leaders’ panel which will be addressing the issue of ‘Navigating the post Covid unknown’.
The topics included in the LEF programme are designed to stimulate discussion and debate. They will include, among many others, sustainable growth issues, digital policy, the impact of Covid 19 on geopolitical relations and, the ‘future’ of inflation.
