REFLECT FESTIVAL 2021

For 3 days commencing 14th October, the island’s biggest tech event, Reflect Festival 2021, took place in the heart of Limassol. Reflect Festival connects businesspeople, corporates, entrepreneurs, academics, students, scientists, and technology and IT specialists, thus attracting thousands of attendees each year.

With Gold sponsorship support from Elias Neocleous & Co LLC, Reflect has been paving the way for technological innovation since its first event in 2018.   Elias Neocleous & Co LLC is an avid believer in disrupting the legal status quo through groundbreaking technological advancements.  It is proud of its  involvement with the festival.

Reflect 2021 was a celebration of technological innovation marked by startup companies, panel discussions, powerful speeches and keynote presentations delivered by entrepreneurs and inspirational individuals who serve as pioneers in their respective fields. Attendees were given the opportunity to view innovative displays assembled by companies, and to participate in a networking lounge where they could exchange views with the presenters.

Elias Neocleous & Co LLC both sponsored and participated in the festival. The event provided an ideal platform for the launch of Phase I of its innovative revolutionary legal technology solution “NEOLAW.AI”.  NEOLAW.AI was created by a team of lawyers in collaboration with tech developers. It is powered by machine learning and A.I. and has a natural language processing system. With these advantages, Elias Neocleous & Co LLC aims to make NEOLAW.AI  the sole indispensable  legal assistant for lawyers, legal consultants, and law students in Cyprus.

Participants in Reflect 2021 were able to visit the NEOLAW.AI booth and see the NEOLAW.AI team present this exceptional platform.  Indeed, the team was fully occupied throughout the event providing information and displaying to Reflect participants the innovative functions of the services provided by the platform.  Interested individuals considering subscribing to the platform were also able to register their details ahead of the official launch.

Elsewhere during the opening day of the festival, Managing Partner, Elias Neocleous, and Fabian Cabeza and  Christina Anastasiou, Associates at Elias Neocleous & Co LLC  were all engaged as panelists for a number of lively discussions.  On the ‘Beach Stage’ Elias was busy airing his views in a discussion as to whether or not “Cyprus can become a global tech island”. During the debate he identified a number of advantages which Cyprus enjoys which extend beyond being a business friendly tax jurisdiction.  Meanwhile Fabian and Christina were occupied fielding questions on Technology and the Law, and in particular how technology can help transparency and citizen engagement.

Noting the evident success of Reflect 2021 Elias Neocleous commented,  “I am confident that the Reflect festival will continue to be a showcase for innovation and breakthrough technologies in the region for many years to come.  Elias Neocleous & Co LLC is proud to be associated with the event and we look forward to being awed and inspired once more by Reflect 2022!”
