An article of our associate Ioannis Sidiropoulos has been published in Fileleftheros newspaper. The article addresses the matter of corporate restructuring and rescue in Cyprus, under the prism of innovation and how this can contribute towards national economic resilience. In particular, the author refers to the current challenges that companies have to face due to the pandemic and the inflation distortions. Furthermore, he proposes a new and flexible framework based on informal workout proceedings, he outlines the characteristics that the insolvency practitioners profession must have so as to be successful in this context and expresses his opinion about some changes that must take place in the banking sector.
