ESMA guidelines on marketing communications enter into force in Cyprus

Senior associate, Pamela Evangelou, recently contributed an article on the above topic to the prestigious IFLR platform.

In her article Pamela explains the origins of the guidelines and their underlying purposes. She identifies which regulated entities are affected by it, before exploring which forms of communication are likely to fall within its ambit and which are expressly  excluded. She concludes by outlining the steps an affected entity will need to take to ensure compliance.
