The 31st Annual Meeting and Conference of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (“IPBA”) took place in Dubai from 7 to 10 March 2023 with Elias Neocleous & Co LLC represented by Partners Chrysanthos Christoforou and Christos Vezouvios. Founded in April 1991, IPBA has grown to become the preeminent legal association with an interest in the Asia-Pacific Region. It now has 1500 members drawn from 65 jurisdictions throughout the world.
This year’s conference had as its theme “One World: Law & the Environment Beyond Covid” and it was a measure of the event’s importance that it attracted more than 750 prominent delegates from the world’s leading law firms. Representatives from Latin America, Central America, the USA, Europe and South East Asia were all present. This vibrant forum gave our Partners the opportunity to discuss current legal and market developments and engage with lawyers from around the world, exploring emerging trends, sharing key takeaways from Covid challenges, and exchanging insights garnered from current opportunities.
