The above article has recently been published on the influential ‘Mondaq’ platform. Co-authored by Lawyer Trainee, Iosifina Koutsonikola and Senior Associate Ramona Livera, the article explores the potential use of AI by lawyers and the judicial system in general. Reference is made to recent high-profile cases where the use of AI, including Chat GPT, has been at issue. Following on from this the authors identify some important concerns and issues which they believe must be addressed and resolved before AI can be accepted as a standard element in the judicial process.
