Elias Neocleous & Co LLC to host IBSA event on ‘Residence Planning and Corporate Re-domiciliation’

Elias Neocleous & Co LLC will be hosting an IBSA discussion group meeting on the topic of ‘Residence Planning and Corporate Re-domiciliation’ on Thursday, 29 June 2023.

This event will gather an esteemed group of industry professionals and experts in their fields, including Roy Saunders, Founder and Chairman of the IBSA, Dmitry Zapol of IFS Consultants, Spyros Ioannou of Primus Audit & Tax, Kyriaki Stinga, Elena Christodoulou and Alexis Christodoulou of Elias Neocleous & Co LLC, Miguel Nasser of Squire Patton Boggs, Geraldine Schembri of EMCS Ltd, and Walter Andreoni of Mercanti e Associati, to examine the preferential tax regimes offered by countries including Cyprus, Malta, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Dubai, Switzerland and the UK for individuals looking to change their tax residence, and for companies wishing to change their country of domicile.

A variety of topics will be explored like which countries provide incentives for entrepreneurs to consider migration in advance of receipt of income and capital gains; the potential pitfalls when ceasing tax residence in a particular country; and the reasons why a UK company may need to be re-domiciled to another jurisdiction, including the methods by which they do so.

This event will be held at the offices of Elias Neocleous & Co LLC, located at 195 Arch. Makarios III Neocleous House, Limassol, at 18:00 EET, followed by a post-discussion dinner at Agios Epiktitos Taverna.
