Legal 500 is internationally renowned for producing a wide-ranging series of resources for in-house lawyers including roundtables and client insight reports.

Taking place on 30 January 2024 at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia, ENC will join other prominent law firms in the country to explore current issues impacting various legal sectors and practices. The summit agenda will cover a range of crucial topics including the essential aspects of legal compliance for in-house counsels overseeing remote work set-ups, the relationship between AI and the law, and navigating business success amid the ongoing economic evolution.

More specifically, the panel discussion to be hosted by ENC, and moderated by firm Partner Andrea Kallis Parparinou, will analyse the challenges faced by in-house counsel amid the surging trend of remote employing and the changing landscape of work arrangements in Cyprus. Our panel of experts will include Tony Jamous, CEO of Oyster, Aleksandra Mirgorodskaia, Senior Legal Counsel and Data Protection Officer at Gaijin Entertainment, and Fabian Cabeza, Legal Consultant at ENC and a pivotal member of the firm’s legal tech hub, who together will dissect critical issues, from ensuring legal compliance with the latest remote work rules, addressing data protection intricacies, the revision of contracts, occupational safety implications, tax considerations, among others.
