At the annual general meeting of STEP Cyprus, the local branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, which was held on 27 March 2023, Kyriacos Xenophontas, partner at Elias Neocleous & Co LLC, was re-elected as a member of the new board of directors of STEP Cyprus for the term 2024-2025.
STEP is the leading global professional body for practitioners in the fields of trust, estates, and related issues. Founded in the UK in 1991, the organization has grown significantly and today boasts more than 21,000 members worldwide comprising lawyers, accountants, trustees, and other specialists.
STEP Cyprus was established in 2003 and has approximately 170 members from the legal, accounting, banking and trust sectors. The Cyprus chapter is committed to closely following any new laws and regulations affecting the country’s local and international trusts, and to continuously inform its members about the latest developments in trust planning, succession planning and in general anything related to legal or tax matters.
