A recent Administrative Court decision has agreed that such applications have been subject to unreasonable delay on the part of the Cyprus authorities and should receive a timely response. Aylin explores the possible responses that may be given under Cyprus law and the basis on which a negative response may ultimately be referred to the European Court of Human Rights.
