Elias Neocleous, Michael Pelosi and Demetris Roti were privileged to have attended the Legal 500 GC Powerlist Israel launch which was graciously hosted by Herzog Fox & Neeman in their new state of the art Tel-Aviv offices on 22 March 2023. Elias Neocleous & Co LLC had the honour to co-sponsor the event that was attended by over 100 in-house lawyers from Israel’s most influential companies, to celebrate and recognise the achievements of their dedicated in-house teams. The event gave delegates the opportunity to meet, network and discuss the challenges facing businesses in today’s difficult environment, and to explore the opportunities that follow. In his opening remarks to the delegates, Elias Neocleous praised the work of the GCs and endorsed the idea of external counsel working closely with the in-house teams to help businesses prosper and succeed and to mitigate the ever-growing business risks they face. He noted the potential for synergies between Israel and Cyprus given the close economic and geographical ties between our two countries, which was evident by the number of delegates that had worked with and visited Cyprus.
The event was a milestone for Israel as it was the first ever Legal 500 GC Powerlist published for the country, and it was a privilege for Elias Neocleous & Co LLC to have supported the event and the publication, in addition to similar support of the GC Powerlist Greece and Cyprus.
