Senior Associate Vassilis Psyrras was proud to have participated as a panelist in the “Limassol Boat Show Conference: Cyprus, the new yachting hub of the East Med”, organized by Limassol Marina in collaboration with Investor Media on 19 May 2023. Taking place for the first time in Cyprus, the conference was held within the framework of the 2023 Limassol Boat Show that boasted a record 40,000 visitors and over 100 exhibitors from countries worldwide.
This milestone event gave attendees the opportunity to meet, network and discuss the Eastern Mediterranean as an evolving destination for superyachts, the role of Cyprus in driving industry expansion through several prominent developments on the island and in the wider region, as well as other pertinent topics. “It was an honor and a pleasure to contribute as a panelist in this first of its kind conference in the country”, noted Vassilis, who together with his co-panelists shared their insights and expertise on several tax and legal challenges and opportunities in the yachting sector in Cyprus.
