Our firm proudly sponsored an event organised by the Cyprus Alumni Association of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The keynote speaker at the event was the eminent Nobel Laureate Economics Prize winner Dr. Christophoros Pissarides, who developed the topic: “The Effects of Robots and Artificial Intelligence on the Labor Market“. Intervention was made by the Chancellor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Professor Periklis Mitsas, developing the subject: “Educating the Machine, The Artificial Intelligence in the Service of Man and Conversely”.
The gathering was welcomed by the Chancellor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Professor Periklis Mitkas, the Chancellor of Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) Professor Andreas Anagiotos, the President of the Alumni Association of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Cyprus) Mr. Andreas Karydis and the Chairman of the Alumni Association of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Mr. Pantelis Savidis. The occasion was considered an exceptional success and was broadcast simultaneously in Thessaloniki at a live event held at the Center for the Dissemination of Research Results of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
