We are proud to announce that six members of our firm, Iraklis Kyprianou, Kyveli Antoniou, Alexandros Neofytou, Avgi Michael, Maria Vyronos, and Maria Keliri, were officially sworn in as lawyers during an admission ceremony held on 14 May at the Supreme Court of Cyprus.
The ceremony took place in the presence of a representative of the Attorney General of the Republic, the President and Judges of the Supreme Court, the President of the Cyprus Bar Association, Mr. Michalis Vorkas, and the Presidents of the Famagusta and Kyrenia Bar Associations.
Addressing the new lawyers, Mr. Vorkas spoke about the challenges of today’s legal profession and the constantly evolving environment in which modern lawyers are called to grow and succeed. He emphasized the importance of continuous learning, proper preparation, adaptability, the development of new skills, and a strong commitment to ethics and professionalism.
He also highlighted the broader role of lawyers in society, noting that the legal profession serves not only clients but also justice itself and the wider community, contributing to the protection of fundamental rights, the rule of law, and democratic institutions.
The new lawyers were encouraged to view the challenges of their professional journey as opportunities for growth and personal development, while always showing respect toward their clients, the courts, legal procedures, and fellow colleagues.
As a firm, we warmly congratulate Iraklis Kyprianou, Kyveli Antoniou, Alexandros Neofytou, Avgi Michael, Maria Vyronos, and Maria Keliri on this important milestone and wish them every success as they begin this exciting new chapter in their professional careers.
