Biography
Experienced advocate with a demonstrated history of working in the legal services industry with over 18 years PQE and an LLM focused in Corporate Law, Commercial Law, International Business Law, Banking Law and Insolvency Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Dealing mostly with multi-national corporations and transactions involving entities with foreign interests advising on matters relating to commercial laws, employment laws and drafting policies for employers and participating in mediations with union bodies and employee representatives, restructurings and reorganisations, corporate governance and structures, regulatory insurance, telecom projects and contract drafting.
Working closely with international law firms guiding counsel on regulatory and technical matters under Cyprus laws whilst coordinating teams around the world to achieve structured legal compliance across various sectors on acquisition or merger transactions.
Carrying out due diligence exercises of high profile acquisitions (banks, loan portfolios, hotels, listed companies and regulated entities) as well as acting as counsel for bidding teams in procurement ventures.

- Working with management and in house teams to advise leading enterprises in the hospitality, finance and media industries on the operational and commercial legal matters as well as the technical requirements required for regulated entities
- Working with international legal teams to advise international investors and companies on the acquisition of Cyprus targets and cross-border acquisitions of foreign companies and their Cyprus subsidiaries
- Carrying out due diligence projects for large corporate groups and banking institutions.
- Leading corporate restructurings and closures for corporate matters and employment issues that required coordination for consultation and information proceedings, negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Advised leading international technology, media, and telecom companies on establishing telecoms operations in Cyprus and obtaining relevant licenses as electronic communications providers as well as ensuring active compliance with the latest regulations.
