Biography
Marina is a trainee lawyer in the Corporate and Commercial Department of Elias Neocleous & Co LLC, gaining exposure to a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. She supports the team in day to day work, assisting with various aspects of corporate law and developing her practical legal skills in a structured environment.
During her studies, Marina served as a course representative in her final year, reflecting her strong organisational and interpersonal skills. She also participated in the European Youth Parliament programme during her school years and was involved in mooting activities at university, further developing her communication, analytical and teamwork abilities.
Relevant Experience
- Engaged in legal research, on corporate and commercial law matters, including relevant case law and regulatory frameworks
- Assisting with legal drafting, including the preparation of agreements, corporate approvals and memoranda on ongoing client matters
- Providing support in corporate administration and regulatory compliance and assisting supervising lawyers in transactions through the organisation and preparation of documentation
- Assisting with due diligence exercises, including the review and organisation of corporate records
- Assisting with the drafting and preparation of constitutional and corporate documents for Cyprus entities
- Engaged in legal translations
