BIOGRAPHY

Christiana’s main areas of practice are civil, corporate and commercial litigation and dispute resolution with a particular emphasis on contract law, shareholder disputes, joint-venture disputes, derivative actions, international trade and torts and liquidation of companies.

Relevant experience
    • Advised and represented national and international entities in court proceedings involving applications for Mareva injunctions and disclosure orders
    • Engaged in many large and complex court proceedings, including shareholder disputes, breach of trust agreements and fiduciary duties and derivative actions
    • Advised clients on aspects of Cyprus law in connection with cases involving complex, multi-jurisdictional issues
    • Advised foreign corporations and private individuals on litigation strategy aimed at preserving and recovering assets
    • Advised foreign entities on enforcing foreign judgments and arbitration awards in Cyprus
    • Advised creditors on liquidation and debt collection procedures
    • Advised private individuals and negotiated with trading companies whose license was suspended by CySec
    • Represented private individuals in banking fraud cases involving successful applications for Mareva and Norwich Pharmacal orders.
