We live in uncertain times which seem beset by seismic occurrences such as the Covid 19 pandemic, war in Ukraine and climate change. At times it is difficult to see a path forward, however, that is what LEF 2022 will bravely try to do! In response to current geopolitical and economic upheaval LEF 2022 will focus on “Understanding the new world order: Economics, Business and International Relations redefined”. Clearly there will be much to discuss and hopefully some positive guidance for weathering the storms ahead! As befits the vastness of the challenge the topics under consideration are wide ranging touching on a need to redefine foreign policy and international relations, the changing role of China on the world stage, the re-emergence of inflation as a threat to western economies, and the future of diplomacy to name just a few.
