A reasoned decision was delivered by the Cyprus Registrar of Intellectual Property in respect of trademark cancellation proceedings instigated by the U.K. based registered owners of the trademark “AUTOGLASS SPECIALS” against G. TRIKKIS & SONS LTD, a top automotive glass company in Cyprus to whom ownership of the “TRIKKIS AUTOGLASS” trademark belongs. Elias Neocleous & Co LLC represented G. TRIKKIS & SONS LIMITED, who opposed the cancellation proceedings, and who ultimately went on to win the right to retain and use their own trademark.
