In his article Michael elaborates on the benefits of 5G usage but also explains why each advantage brings with it an additional cybersecurity threat. This is particularly true for corporations seeking to safeguard their networks and their data. They have become increasingly vulnerable to attack as larger numbers of devices connect to their network. This is likely to be exacerbated by 5G’s use of digital software routing in preference to hardware and by other system changes. He suggests that all companies should be reviewing their security and finding ways to mitigate these latest generational threats!
