The Cyprus chapter, authored by Elias Neocleous, Kyriaki Stinga, Adonis Zachariou and Theodora Alexandrou, was published online on 19 June 2026 as part of Issue 92.
The publication provides practical, comprehensive and detailed guidance on the establishment, management and administration of trusts. It addresses the legislative requirements of each jurisdiction covered and examines the advantages and disadvantages of one jurisdiction as compared with another, with reference to legal, financial and tax considerations. The Cyprus chapter provides a practical overview of Cyprus as a trust jurisdiction, including the constitutional and legal framework, court structure, professional representation, and the principal sources of Cyprus trust law, including the Trustee Law, Cap. 193, and the International Trusts Law of 1992 to 2012.
